PostSubject: A wave from a newby   A wave from a newby EmptyThu Oct 24, 2013 5:44 pm

Hi all
just a note to say hello, been reading some of the posts on the site and liking what I read. I hope can contribute something to the community but at the moment I will probably learn more than I can offer.
who are we, I say we because my wife is also a keen off roader (a past Landrover Rally competitor! you must ask her about it sometime.) and we own an 2009 Jeep Wrangler, had it 2 years and love it, as they say "It's not just a Jeep......It's a way of life." I will post info and pics on what we call "roadtrips" around Scotland, There's not much off roading but some wild camping which may be of interest.
Would like to share tech info with other Wrangler owners, I need to know more and have also learned quite bit which I am Happy to share.
anyway enough for now, all the best from Peej and Peejete.

In her previous past before my time so my info is secondhand and I usually spend most of the time laughing as she tells the stories ( a miniature female Billy Connoly)! As I hear it from her and the guys she used take part with, her role was part navigator, spotter, runner, occasional driver (not her Landy), fire extinguisher, goffer and stunt woman. I don't know the locals but I do know they used compete against the Army on some occasions.
I will ask her to drop you a note with more info but that will be next week probably as we are going away for the weekend today.
Regards. Peej
