 Corrosion problem

I have a pic but can't upload it off my phone it's a small patch on the rear bottom quarter panel. What is the best (cheapest) option to get rid of it?

What is the vehicle ??-----can we assume it's a Landy ??-----if so, don't worry too much about it--------but treat the whole vehicle to LOADS of waxoyl-------the chassis is what you need to really worry about Sad Sad (and the bulkhead)

EDIT-------I just saw your welcome post-----I see you have a 300 Disco----not quite the same as a Landy ----------check the wheel-arches from inside and very carefully check the seat-belt mounts for rear seats (second row--not rear dicky seats)-------in fact check all the 'body structure' before you start preparing it for off-road travelling--------these are VERY capable but do suffer from the tin-worm:( Sad
