Just wanted to raise my head above the parapet and say hi from a rainy Cumbria.

Cheers,
Paul

Hi and welcome, clinking teacups
What motor do you have, and after you have posted (I think) 5 times we like to see photos.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
I suppose I am a bit in the middle with this forum. I love to travel overland but prefer to do it on two wheels, I leave to ride the Arctic highway on 21st September. I do however travel truly overland or off-road in my 110 defender as for the last 17 years I have been repairing and upgrading Public Rights of Way for Cumbria County Council.
I also must admit to having another hopefully positive motive for joining the forum, we own a small campsite just outside Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria and each year we host a number of overland bike rallies. We would like to extend this invite to the 4x4 community as have Horizons Unlimited, we are holding our first HU mini meet in the spring, we are located in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt upland areas of this small island.

We welcome groups and individuals throughout the year at Takoda camping.
