May Day camping

Having a little mini meet over the May Bank Holiday in Kent. There's a Zil, Merc, Land Rover and DAF meeting up to compare wares, trucks and travel ideas, of course there will be plenty of along the way.

Damn, damn, damn ... I don't have anything to wear at the ball (read, I don't have my set up yet).... so can't come and play. I live in Kent (well SE London/Kent borders) too so would be good for me.

Two Bank Holidays in May, which one you going for - Monday the 6th or 27th?

I also tried the link and it was dead. In fact even just http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk was dead, which is unusual as that website is always busy.

OhTom, it's sooooooooooo good to get you back, there's only one May Day Bank Holiday, the other at the end of May is the Spring Bank Holiday

Was going to say ... had you actually said May Day Bank Holiday, I would have known instantly is wasn't the Spring Bank Holiday end in May.

Would love to join you but I already have plans for that weekend, shame as it sounds like a good 'chill out weekend'.
