PostSubject: Expedition Vehicle Sourcing Service   Expedition Vehicle Sourcing Service EmptySat Nov 02, 2013 12:03 am

Hello
My name is Stan, I have been 'Overlanding' since my first trip across North Africa by motorcycle in 1993..
A few years a go I built an MAN overlanding truck and my latest project is a Toyota Landcruiser HJ47 from Australia.

I have have recently set up a service to source expedition vehicles for people..i have many years experience of using Unimogs, 4x4 trucks and Landcruisers.

Due to my many contacts I can find vehicles specific to your requirements.. just contact me !

I  specialise in Toyota Landcruisers but can find most other vehicles, so if there is something you are looking for get in touch !

PS am struggling to put a photo up here ?!

Again, like others have found before you, the forum software seems to have some sort of anti-spam thingy that prevents those newly registered from posting photos and URL's. Think it takes 5 or 6 posts until it deems you to be 'friendly'. Ahhhhh!!!! cuddles

No problem, email them to me at 4x4trading@talk21.com and I'll post it/them for you.

How did you find Adventure Overland BTW? I said it would be a fair ol' size, that said I never realised how many campers and suchlike would turn up. Your thoughts ...

Hi
I thought the show was excellent apart from a few things..the layout was a bit difficult and we weren't in a good spot, and that was after moving !
the other cause for complaint was the pissed up veterans.. but here isn't the place to voice that one..censored

But you did a great job getting it all together and I enjoyed the weekend, hopefully next year there will be a better traders layout and more people visit, I was pleased with how many people did make the effort tho, so well done..cheers1

Originally on A5, I'd be the first to admit that row just didn't work. Instead of walking up that row, the day visitors were ploughing their way through the hedges to take the shortest line out of the car park. Realising what was happening we installed barriers (complete with cable ties) where they had been pushing though, but then they moved the barriers aside and resumed their relentless march to the centre of the showground; marvelous! Where did you actually end up?

Having a tidy up, so this is a previous post of stanoverlander :-

Subject: Ecobilly outdoor kettle    Mon 18 Nov 2013 - 17:04

We have just taken delivery of our first batch of 'ECOBILLY'S'

These are the Aussie version of a Kelly kettle. I have used an aussie kettle like this for years, but it was made of galv steel. I have been on the lookout for a better version and found these. I never liked the Kelly kettle with the littlepot for the fire, I preferred this style.

We are now the UK distributors of these so here it is...

Eco Billy Instant Kettle

· Eco billy boils water in under 5 minutes using only a handful of leaves and twigs
· Quick, safe, contained, environmentally sound fire, leaving only a small pile of ash.
· Eco Billy is easy to pour—handles stay cool to touch
· Eco billy is made of stainless steel construction for long life
· Eoc Billy is lightweight and durable

Large Eco Billy 1.5 litre = 5 Cups/4 Mugs £ 89.00 + del
Small Eco Billy 700 mls = 3 Cups/2 Mugs £ 75.00 + del
Eco Billy Bag (For Small or Large) £ 20.00

they will be available through theoverlander website soon, or pm me here
