| Hello, I am a one-man-company organising overland tours from Europe to Asia. In 2006 we (5 vehicles and 4 motorbikes) travelled to Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal and back, which took us 6 months. In 2008 we were 5 cars (4x4) going for 9 months from Germany to India,China,Mongolia,Russia and Centralasia (40 000km) We have a mechanic and a paramedic with us. Our next tour to India via Iran and Pakistan will start in October 2011 and it is still possible to join us. For more information:joern.schlag(a)web.de www.overlandtours.de | |

| Welcome Joe! Interesting, but as the man says, shame the site does not have a full English translation. Google translator is going to be busy! | |

| The majority of Dutch speak very good English, so next time a customer writes a report, ask them to write it in English. | |

| Well I still can't find the new tour to India in Oct. 2011 in English, but there was plenty there of interest. There is a page there called Roberts Eisenzelt - www.eisenzelt.de/v2/trucks-a-co-mein-eisenzelt/53-roberts-truck which chronicles an expedition truck build. Great information is you were about to embark on a project like that. Plus, and you are really not going to believe this, you how it's really difficult when photographing a vehicle to capture to gradient of the hill they are tackling? Well how about this for a shot ... what a decent??!!!! Were it not for those vertical fir trees I would have said the photographer had tilted the camera, but those trees prove it's genuine; amazing! | |
