Don't dry clean it. The chemicals may affect it.
Wash on a cold/cool cycle with a mild soap in a front loading machine or by hand in the bath. The bag will soak up a lot of the soap so may need rinsing quite a lot. Don't ring it out to get rid of the excess water, try and be a bit gentle with it.
Dry it out in the open air if you want but I put mine in a tumble dryer on a low heat and do what I was advised to do and that's put a tennis ball or two in with it to break up any clumps.

I've done mine several times over the years but every time I do it, it loses a bit of the fluffiness. Prevention is better than cure though so I use a liner to try and keep it clean for as long as possible.
