| The sly fox. I saw David at Billing and he never even hinted. I even suggested joining forces on particular project, no wonder he didn't give me a definitive answer. Delighted for him, hope it's a roaring success, will back him 100%. | |

| I have bought tickets via the website before Christmas and I am still waiting for it. They don't return my emails and they don't answer the phone. | |

| I wouldn't worry about it too much. I know the organiser well and have emailed him about this and that, and even though a fellow organiser he doesn't answer me either! Somewhat scatty at times, Dave always pulls it off in the end.
Just in case he didn't receive your email, I'd suggest re-sending it to make certain. If nothing else, it will go to the top of the pile.

| It is a one-day event, but many folk in the past used make a weekend of it by staying overnight at local hotels to meet up with friends for a meal Saturday evening - first event of the year an' all that, so a good excuse for a get-together.
Mr & Mrs Gemini - will be shooting up on Sunday morning as I don't like too far away. Again, anyone about during the show, I can be reached on 07958 216266. That said, don't be surprised if you see me before I see you, for I'll be found in a 'prominent location' distributing flyers for ADVENTURE OVERLAND up until 12:00 or 13:00, at least until the majority of visitors have stopped arriving. Yes I have permission! No rest for the wicked!

Yes it is a one day show. When you get to my age, arising at five am looses a lot of interest. Believe me a room at under twenty quid for the night makes sense. We will travel SLOWLY down on the Saturday afternoon calling in at a couple of places to lookat/ buy things we need that are not available at the show. MIKE

| Hi Tom don't know if it's your sort of thing but if you need a volunteer to tuck some flyers for you show under a few windscreen wipers give me a shout a d a handful of said leaflets. I am traveling up Sunday morning so see you there at some point, I will be wearing a overland travel baseball cap wiht a wolly hat over the top with a daily mail under my arm with a bottle of real, ale in one hand and a cup of moorish coffee in the other so I should be easy to spot | |

| .....and tucking flyers under the windscreen wipers is a sure way of damaging the said wipers.

| Ooerr, Margaret's on the war path! I'll have you know Mrs Gemini, I not only do not place flyers under windscreen wipers (you're dead right BTW - I did that once back in the early 80's and the wiper came off in my hand, so have never done it since) I have the permission of the organisers to openly distribute flyers for ADVENTURE OVERLAND at the show. Real nice of him, basically 'cause he's a nice bloke, so I will reciprocate and promote his Indoor 4x4 show at Stratford Racecouse in September. Scratching backs is good! Gary - and anyone else for that matter - if you could help out by joining me to hand out a few flyers, I'd be really grateful. In my experience going back 16 years of running events (blimey ... that's scary ), folk don't like being handed leaflets for products, but say it's for a show or event, they can't take them quick enough. Yes please mate, your assistance will be most welcome. | |

| No problem Tom I'll see you at the show and grab a handful of leaflets off you. On the wiper front don't forget I drove an ML for years and a group of obstinate monkies would not rip the wiper off that Must remember now i'm a Land Rover owner and the vehicles are not built to the same demanding standards as the Panzer if I stare at the windscreen wipers too long they will drop off on there own accord. Seriously on a proper maintained vehicle I would not expect a pice of DL sizes 80gsm paper to do much damage in fact I would expect people who use thier wipers to clear ice in the current weather conditions will do far more damage to the blades. No Mrs Gemini is quite right I hate it when people touch my stuff without asking and stuffing things under wipers etc at shows does annoy me Personally so probably not a good idea. | |

| @ Tom ----- I was not referring to flyers being handed out, it's a good idea, just not being 'tucked in or under ' !!!!!
See you there.
